Hi, I’m Lauren Bradley, LPC, PLPC.

Recognizing when you need help is a sign of courage and for taking the next steps, I applaud you. Many times, we might attempt to go about business as usual but the impact of trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, and self-image show up as a barrier and hinder our journey. I understand how frustrating, tiresome, and draining this can be. Through my experience, I have helped clients work towards their personal goals while overcoming the grasp their symptoms held over them. By getting to know each of my clients for who they are and how they thrive, I provide a safe space and incorporate various evidence-based strategies to foster growth. With a bias in acceptance and commitment therapy, I encourage clients to get comfortable with the uncomfortable, truly grounding them in the present before the work can begin. I pull from cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and attachment-based therapy to provide clients with a well-rounded and creative perspective on their current problems and desires. As a lover of the arts, I believe in clients and myself bringing our personalities and talents into the space so we can both excel!

What I love most about the therapy process is watching my clients grow. From the moment I meet someone I’m connecting with them in a vulnerable state, yet I still see their strength and potential to heal. Working collaboratively with my clients strengthens me as a counselor and emboldens me to continue the work. I learn from my clients just as much as they learn from working with me. Currently I enjoy working with young adults ages 18 and up to older adults aging around 50 years old. Within this population I’m working with various stages of life and can see how an individual’s needs change with time. In addition to specializing in depression, anxiety, and self-image I also thoroughly enjoy working with clients amidst life transitions whether that’s becoming a new parent, going to school, transitioning in the workforce, changes in relationships, or identity- I partner with clients to be a guide and a helping hand in achieving their personal goals.

With Stevie as a mentor, I will be learning more about body-centered modalities in addition to my current set of skills. Accompanied by an additional mentor, I’m also expanding my skills to incorporate couples and welcome those wanting to navigate their relationship together in therapy! I look forward to working with you!
